Also the light flashes when I have messages on my phone service--really great. The phone is very cute and petite--just what I wanted.
It is very comfortable with the contoured shape which is not like the typical flat-shaped cordless phones. Excellent phone for bedroom/desk. Bought one for myself and my parents - they love it.
It is cure and works well, but.- it is smaller than the "regular" phone - function button's labels are veeeery small- have no "speaker" function.
I am extremely happy with the quality of the phone and its features. I can take the phone out on my front porch and still get good reception. I read all the reviews about this phone and decided to buy it anyway. Unlike some people, the reception I get in the other rooms in my house is great.
AND it is so much more affordable than the Panasonic and works much better too. I like it so much better than the phones that offer one or two extensions because the range is so much better with its own base. The price is about 50 cents cheaper than Target and there's no tax and no shipping charges if you have Amazon Prime. This is a cute phone and it looks like a landline but is a portable. I bought two of these phones.
