AND it is so much more affordable than the Panasonic and works much better too. I like it so much better than the phones that offer one or two extensions because the range is so much better with its own base. The price is about 50 cents cheaper than Target and there's no tax and no shipping charges if you have Amazon Prime. This is a cute phone and it looks like a landline but is a portable. I bought two of these phones.
The price is good. That was not explained in any of the documentation that came with the phone. All of the graphics that you see in the advertising of this phone shows a lit up time clock. In reality it is a LCD (unlit) and lights up only when you press one of the two buttons on the cradle or remove the handset and replace it.
The only problem is that the reception can sometimes be a little scratchy, but otherwise the phone is great. We have gotten a lot of compliments on this phone.
Low battery indicator does not seem to work. Very little battery info. Like stand-by time, talk time, etc. This item is a bit pricey for what you get. GE needs to take lessons from Panasonic. not completely listed. Spec. Instructions not complete.
